The Deuce Cup Manifesto

Each team will start the draft with $1,000 (5x the ESPN value) minus keeper costs if applicable.
Commissioner will call out a player and the bidding will begin.
Your draft will end when either A) your roster is full or B) you have no money left.
1. In the event of having no more money and roster spots still needing to be filled, it will be up to the owner to pick players off the waiver wire in order to fill your roster.
  1. Waiver wire will be open the day after the draft
Trades (player for player or player for cash) are negotiable during the draft but only between rounds
Rosters will consist of 14 players
1. Starters will consist of: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 D/ST, 1 K
  1. Flex will consist of RB/WR/TE
  2. Bench includes 5 roster spots
KEEPERS!!!!
1. 2 keepers per year
  1. The price of your keeper after year 1 is A) price of the player from draft or B) $50…. whichever is greater
  2. Players kept from the waiver wire cost $50
  3. Price of your keeper after year 2 is A) ESPN Value (x5 due to Deuce Cup auction price inflation) or B) $50… whichever is greater
  4. Players can only be kept for 2 years – after which the player goes back into the player pool available for auction/waiver pickup.
  5. If a drafted player gets dropped to waivers and then gets picked up and kept by another team, the price for that keeper is what the player was originally drafted for.
  6. Player auction values and keeper status migrate with the player through trades/waiver dumps.

    2. ie. If an owner keeps a player and trades him to another owner within the same year, the player’s keeper status migrates to the new owner (in which case the new owner would have to pay ESPN x5 value as it would be the second year “keeper” for the player.
No injured reserve, throw your shit on the bench
Loser of the league must place the license plate bracket on their primary vehicle no later than 1 week after the final game of the fantasy season. Loser forfeits option to keep players for the season and begins auction with $900 (loss of $100) for failure to do so.
